ACCOMODATION:

 

 

This is our accomodation at Evjemoen Evje. Evjemoen is an ex Norwegian military training establishment situated in pleasant surroundings 2 kilometers from the regional center of Evje, and just a stones throw from the river Otra. The center is idealy placed for a wide range of outdoor activities whether it be Climbing, white water paddling, walking, rafting or just recreational pursuits; swimming/sunbathing on the nearby beach, mountain biking, or Canadian canoeing, Go carting etc. The town of Evje, just 20 minutes walk away has all the modern facilities you would expect; banks, shops, pub, restaurants, bowling etc. The center is an ideal holiday base for families, and small groups of up 30 people taking part in outdoor pursuits.

You will find us reasonably priced, and groups will be offered a good discount depending on the numbers and length of stay.

FACILITIES: 

 

For larger military groups, or other organisations that have a greater requirement; We have military styled  barrack accommodation (x 3) just 100 meters from the main centre with a total of 420 beds. (140 each building) Rooms are available sleeping 1-2-4-8-12 persons. Facilities include; central heating, sauna, hot showers and large recreation/TV room, parking etc.

SCOUT GROUPS

We have a large camping area within Evjemoen approximately 800 metres from the main centre building which suits Scout groups and other/similar organisations. Several hundred tents can be erected on firm grassy areas with adjoining toilet/showering facilities. In 2009 Evjemoen catered for 2 arrangements using our camping facilities totalling betwen 500 and 5000 persons
